About Shane's Rib Shack

There really is a Shane? You bet there is, and by the looks of him, he's all about great food and believes you should never trust a skinny guy when it comes to matters of eating. As for his priorities, of course family always comes first, but darn good food is a close second. Shane used to have a highfalutin corporate job, but it kept him away from home. He wanted to put together his two favorite things - food and family. So, he quit that suit and tie job, dusted off his grandfather's secret BBQ recipe and put the family to work, creating Shane's Rib Shack.

Shane's grandfather, Big Dad, always said, "Do what you love to do and do it better than anyone else." True in life and in BBQ too.

We think Shane made the right choice. He's happy and you're lucky because this is the best BBQ on the planet. Mosey on in and taste for yourself and learn more about Shane, Big Dad and the secret sauce they created. But watch out — it's gonna get messy.

And that’s how every Shane’s Rib Shack franchise is run: as a family, for families. OK, and for anyone else looking for some great BBQ. But it’s a family place, through and through. Shane and Big Dad used to travel the country together visiting relatives and they spent lots of time talking. Now, family is family. But like most people, at one time or another, they needed a break from the in-laws. So they found another way to be around without having to be around (if you know what we mean): BBQ. Countless hours creating, refining, perfecting -- in essence, doing what they loved to do. From sandwiches to full rack platters, we're still doing it today. The Result? Taste for Yourself.
