"Great atmosphere during the holidays" by klahdane
May 21, 2009 - Likes it - I ate at HOJ during the holidays. The place was packed, our table was completely filled, and the food was wonderful. I can't really put my finger on what makes HOJ especially good, but quality is there through and through. After reading the review before me, I will have to try the sushi on my next visit. Go expecting to drop some cash, but know that it is totally worth it if you go with friends and make an evening out of it.

"Steak and seafood beyond compare..." by Rob
April 01, 2009 - Really likes it - Whether for lunch or dinner, the steak, seafood and chicken (and vegetables, if that's your thing), done teppanyaki style while you watch, are always delicious. Try the egg yolk sauce on the chicken and seafood; you won't be sorry. Lunch is an especially good value. And for my money, they also have the best and freshest sushi bar around.

AboutAbout House of Japan

Flaming onion volcano, shrimp tails flying, table-side cooking, chefs performing tricks, Japanese Koi fish swimming in a pond, walking across a glass bridge with waterfalls or strolling through a Japanese Garden are just some of the unique experiences you will have while dining at the House of Japan.

Since opening in Dublin, Ohio at Tuttle Crossing in November of 1998, House of Japan has won the Consumer's Choice Award in the "Fine Japanese Dining" category from 1999 – 2003 and 2005-2008.  Because of customer response, a second location was opened at 8701 Sancus Boulevard near Polaris Fashion Mall.

House of Japan boasts a unique blend of dishes, such as filet mignon, Hibachi lobster, shrimp, chicken or scallops, Teppan steak and an Imperial feast for two, which includes mushroom soup, salad, shrimp appetizers and a main course of lobster, filet mignon and chicken.  The feast also includes plum wine and dessert.

House of Japan also features a variety of combination dishes, which are all served with a shrimp appetizer, soup, salad and rice.

Our talented chefs provide dinner entertainment.  They dazzle diners with their forks, knives and spatulas while they cook.  House of Japan's well-trained staff is committed to providing the best possible food and service, and offers fast service during bus lunch hours.

House of Japan's sushi bar serves a large selection of fresh seafood delivered three to four times a week.  the sushi bar offers a variety, such as sushi, sashimi, rolls and hand rolls.  For beginners, the California roll is always a cool and satisfying starter.
